Unfortunately, we’ve had to close Moochin’ About Jazz Cafe at wayside station Road…it was a tough decision. but being such a small space it wasn’t something we feel would be viable with not able to sit as many customers in… also the cafe was all about meeting new people and enjoying the music without having to wear masks and being screened of from one another..!
But.. we will be returning..! the venue its still under negotiation, but we’re planning on opening up later this year, if not in the new year…
so we will look forward seeing you all in the not too distant future…

We are situated on Station Road, directly opposite Arnside train station

The bar will be based on the Moochin’ About brand, selling a great range of Jazz, Blues and World music Vinyl which will be supplied by some of the finest labels in the UK… These include London based labels, Honest Jons Records, Soul Jazz, Sterns and various labels distributed by PIAS…

Can’t recommend enough. Great for walkers like me. Very cosy and accomodating. The Persian soup and bread was divine. This is definately the stopping place for me and my friends from now on.

Really good selection of herbal teas. As a fitness instructer I would recommend visiting for the herbal tea range and the bagels. Delicious.
They make even decaf coffee taste just as good as I remember actual coffee tasting. A real sense of respect for their blends.

A well hidden gem, a great find right opposite the station at Arnside. Great welcome, fantastic panini’s. The couple who run it are just great. I suggest you plan your visit there as they have a great collection of vinyl and Jazz boxsets. We will definately be popping back in when we come back in the summer.
Fabulous food, fabulous coffee, fabulous music and fabulous hosts. Could not have received a warmer welcome. We will definitely be visiting whenever we are in Arnside.
