Carols From The Welsh Mines ~ The Rhos Male Voice Choir
Conducted by Colin Jones
Organist John Tudor Davis
The Rhos Male Voice Choir is a choir of Miners. They are the inheritors of the great musical tradition, which generations of miners in the North Wales district have sustained with remarkable continuity. Out of this village have emerged the finest voices as well as the ablest composers from Wales. The faces on the front cover are those miners to whom the light of day is a benediction. Who could feel more deeply the wonder and radiance of the Christmas message than these men who spend much of their lives in darkness..?
